Viessmann boilers are designed and manufactured to use water as a heat carrier. To protect boiler installations from freezing, it may be necessary to add antifreeze to the boiler or circulating water.

Antifrogen L

Transparent liquid of bluish color; intended for use as a cooling brine and coolant in systems using solar energy, heat pumps and in the food industry. The product is inhibited without the use of nitrites, amines and phosphates.

Main Features:

• Based on 1,2 - propylene glycol and anticorrosive additives.
• The minimum permissible concentration for use is 25 vol.% (at -10 ° C).
• The operating temperature range during continuous operation is approx. from -25 °C to +150 °C.
• Possibility of application with plastics/elastomers.

Antifrogen N

Transparent liquid of pale yellow hue; intended for use as a heat carrier in heating systems using solar energy, heat pumps and hot water heating systems, as well as as a cooling brine in industrial refrigeration equipment. The product complies with the requirements of Part 1 of the DIN 4757 standard for solar-based heating systems using water or water mixtures as a heat carrier.

Main Features:

• The main component is monoethylene glycol with anticorrosive additives.
• The minimum permissible concentration for use is 20 vol.%.
• The operating temperature range during continuous operation is approx. from -35 °C to +150 °C.
• Possibility of application with plastics/elastomers.
